
Hi! I’m Ruth
I’m a personal trainer, yoga teacher, breath work practitioner, outdoor swim coach and a UK registered dietitian (in no particular order!). You can read more about my experience and qualifications here.
I set up PanchaFit in 2024 to provide women over 35 with accessible and actionable online courses and services that will help them achieve their goals of increasing muscle mass, boosting their energy and living a healthier happier life.
I have always been driven to behaviours that protect my health and as I age my desire to do this continues to grow. I want to feel like myself, to be energetic, up for adventure, loving my sleep, and enjoying my food. I want to be here for my children as long as possible and to be an old active lady. My Mum and cousin both died far too early from the dreaded cancer. We can’t prevent everything by strength training, yoga and eating well but there’s a whole heap we can do to reduce our chances of ill health and have a better quality of life.
I’m all about finding a balance between what is enjoyable and sustainable and what you absolutely should avoid. There isn’t just one thing you can do to improve your health, it takes a series of small changes in lots of areas of your life to make a difference. There’s also a lot of grey areas and things professionals can’t agree on which makes exercise and nutrition really confusing and frustrating.
I’m here to help you build those small healthy habits, understand what the science says and what that means for you in reality. I have a wealth of knowledge of chronic diseases, nutrition, sleep, stress, and exercise which I want to share with you.

My approach to helping you get fit (the why train with me bit):
A safe pair of hands - sometimes it sounds a bit boring, but being medically trained as a dietitian I have been taught to practice within the limitations of my knowledge and to make sure I keep my clients safe. That means you can trust me to give you the foundations for success with no gimmicks and to build lasting results. This means my sessions include:
Thorough warm up for injury prevention
Incremental increases in difficulty to make sure your technique remains on point
Time spent on cool down and stretches to increase flexibility and prevent post workout muscle soreness (DOMS)
Focus on functional movements to help maintain and develop correct posture, movement and balance
I also provide information on nutrition as needed including; balancing hormones, gut health, plant based diets, peri- and post-menopause and health as women age. So you aren’t just getting stronger, you are getting healthier.
